Comprehensive Stroke Symposium

The Aurora Health Care Comprehensive Stroke Symposium offers an update on the latest advances in stroke care. Improving stroke patient outcomes requires a multifaceted approach that includes pre-hospital, acute, ICU management and rehabilitation care. This conference is designed to improve the knowledge and performance of healthcare providers.

Learning Objectives

  1. Examine the updates on the latest advances in surgical and endovascular intervention and ICU management of the hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patient
  2. Identify concepts related to stroke rehabilitation 
  3. Differentiate the capabilities of each stroke hospital certification
  4. Review complicated cases by multidisciplinary physician experts in advanced stroke care
  5. Summarize the neuroimaging utilized in the care of acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients
  6. Identify at least three stroke best practices that influence Door to Groin and Door to IV alteplase times
