Current Approaches to Thoracic Outlet Syndrome 2018

A keynote presentation will be given by Kyla Bennett, MD from UW Health, followed by regional vascular providers presenting interesting and educational vascular cases. By listening to Dr. Bennett’s presentation, clinicians will be able to take back to their practices the ability to more effectively diagnose, monitor and refer patients with TOS.

Target Audience


Vascular surgeons, vascular interventionists, interventional cardiology, orthopedic shoulder providers, and cardiothoracic surgeons/providers, neurologists.

Learning Objectives


At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify patients with thoracic outlet syndrome.
  2. Recognize their role in the non-operative management of thoracic outlet syndrome.
  3. Differentiate between patients that should be referred out to a provider who specializes in thoracic outlet syndrome vs patients that can be treated without specialist referral.
