Stroke and Neurovascular Symposium 2018

The education will bring awareness to lesser known disease states of the neurovascular system. There will be a focus on changes in the healthcare system(s) in the greater Green Bay area that has in turn led to medical staff caring for disease states they are less familiar with. All education will be done using live presentation by content experts for that topic. 

Target Audience

Critical Care, ED, Hospitalists and Neuroscience physicians, APPs, and RNs

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1.  Describe changes in the hospital systems of care that have led to a more diverse patient population.   
  2.  Identify lesser known disease states of the Neurovascular system and management of these diagnosis.
  3.  Examine updates on the advances of endovascular interventions of the ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke patient.
  4.  Identify diseases that mimic stroke.
