Condition Management & Documentation (CMD) Annual Compliance Course

This course is designed to address the knowledge gap for the CMD support team and Physician champions related to the legal and regulatory requirements for risk adjustment.  The intent is to increase knowledge of the legal landscape and requirements and apply that knowledge in daily practice to improve compliance with those requirements.

Target Audience

This course is intended for the Condition Management & Documentation (CMD) support team and Physician Champions that support the CMD work.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify role and responsibility in supporting our clinicians in CMD work
  2. Apply the Guidelines for Communications with Clinicians to standardize language in regard to CMD
  3. Discover how to properly document communications with adequate detail and retention
