Join us for the Milwaukee Heart Failure Symposium 2024. Heart failure is the progressive stage of most cardiac illness and the only cardiovascular disease rising in incidence, prevalence and mortality. The treatment for heart failure has changed dramatically and become more complex in the past 10 years. In this symposium, we will present up-to-date knowledge to help clinicians  identify, evaluate and treat heart failure and related conditions. This symposium will be of value to cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, internal medicine, hospital medicine, family practice, advanced practice clinicians, bedside nurses and subspecialty trainees.

Participation in the Symposium is available in-person and virtually. 

Target Audience

This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, and other interested health professionals.​

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Evaluate current challenges in global care of heart failure patients.
  2. Analyze cutting edge device therapy/surgery options in the treatment of heart failure​
  3. Recognize the best diagnostic and treatment options for heart failure​
  4. Identify patients for advanced heart failure therapies​
  5. Develop management strategies and collaboration involving unique patient populations and specialized programs
